Everything you need to get started

Follow these step-by-step guides to set up your blog, connect your domain, automate publishing, and grow your audience — all in minutes.

Getting Started

Create your account and set up your blog in under 2 minutes.

1

Create your account

Go to blogme.io/signup and enter your name, email, and password. You'll be taken straight to your dashboard.
2

Complete onboarding

The onboarding wizard asks for your blog name, domain (e.g. mybusiness), industry, and target audience. This helps the AI write content that fits your niche.
3

Choose your plan

Start on the Free plan (2 articles/month) to try things out. Upgrade anytime from Settings → Billing when you're ready for more.
4

Explore your dashboard

Your dashboard has everything: articles, keywords, analytics, social connections, and settings. Each section is covered below.

Keywords & Topics

Tell BlogMe what to write about. Keywords drive your content strategy.

1

Add your first keywords

Go to Dashboard → Keywords and add topics relevant to your business. For example, a dentist might add "teeth whitening tips", "dental implant cost", "best toothpaste for sensitive teeth".
2

Use AI keyword suggestions

Click Generate Keywords and BlogMe will suggest SEO-optimized topics based on your industry and audience. Pick the ones you like and add them.
3

Manage your keyword queue

Keywords in the queue are used to generate articles. You can reorder, edit, or remove them anytime. Once an article is generated from a keyword, it moves to "Used".

Creating Content

Generate SEO-optimized, fact-checked articles with one click.

1

Generate an article

Go to Dashboard → Articles and click Generate Article. Pick a keyword from your queue or enter a custom topic. The AI writes a full article with headings, body, meta description, and a featured image.
2

Review and edit

Every article lands in Draft status. You can review the content, edit anything you want, and preview how it'll look on your blog.
3

Fact-checking

BlogMe automatically fact-checks claims in your article using web search. You'll see verification badges on each claim — green for verified, yellow for unverified.
4

Publish

When you're happy with the article, click Publish. It goes live on your blog instantly. Or, set it to autopilot and let BlogMe handle it automatically (see next section).

Autopilot Mode

Set it and forget it. BlogMe generates and publishes content on your schedule.

Autopilot is the most powerful feature in BlogMe. Once enabled, the system automatically picks keywords from your queue, generates articles, fact-checks them, creates featured images, publishes to your blog, and distributes to your social channels — all without you lifting a finger.

1

Enable autopilot

Go to Dashboard → Settings → Auto-Publish and toggle autopilot on.
2

Set your schedule

Choose how often you want new articles published: daily, every few days, or weekly. BlogMe will stick to your schedule.
3

Keep your keyword queue stocked

Autopilot pulls from your keyword queue. Make sure you have enough keywords queued up. Use the AI keyword generator to bulk- add topics.
4

Monitor from your dashboard

You'll see autopilot activity in your dashboard. Every auto-published article still shows up in your articles list where you can review or edit it.

Custom Domain Setup

Connect your blog to your own domain like blog.yourbusiness.com

Need help with this step? We're happy to set up your domain for you — just email us at support@blogme.io and we'll take care of it.

1

Choose your subdomain

Most businesses use blog.yourdomain.com. You can also use a subdirectory-style subdomain like news.yourdomain.com.
2

Add your domain in BlogMe

Go to Dashboard → Settings → Domain and enter your custom domain (e.g. blog.yourdomain.com). BlogMe will show you the DNS records you need to add.
3

Add a CNAME record at your registrar

Log into your domain registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, Google Domains, etc.) and add a CNAME record:
Type: CNAME
Name/Host: blog (or your chosen subdomain)
Value/Target: cname.vercel-dns.com
TTL: Auto (or 3600)
4

Wait for DNS propagation

DNS changes usually take 5–30 minutes, but can take up to 48 hours. BlogMe will automatically detect when the records are active and issue an SSL certificate for your domain.
5

Verify in BlogMe

Once propagation is complete, go back to Settings → Domain and you'll see a green checkmark confirming your domain is connected. Your blog is now live at your custom domain!
